Azade Aydogdu

Occupational Therapist

Hi everyone! My name is Azade. I grew up in Istanbul, Turkey, a place that is culturally abundant. As a child, I was inspired by health professions for their contributions to society. These influences fostered a deep-seated passion for helping others overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Becoming an Occupational Therapist allowed me to channel this passion into a rewarding career, where I love empowering people I work with, fostering independence, creative problem-solving.

I earned my Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from Hacettepe University in Turkey. During my studies, I completed clinical placements in University Hospital which deepened my understanding of diverse needs. After graduation, I immediately started working with a multidisciplinary team at a paediatric center and I specialized in Sensory Integration. I also gained experience in different private clinics and rehabilitation centers throughout the years. I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing children, their families and other team members. I have continued my practice in London since 2019 which has been a great experience and I am always striving to provide compassionate and effective care.

Outside of work, I enjoy doing yoga, which often informs my therapeutic approach. I also have an interest in music and going to concerts. Above all, I believe in finding joy and potential in every moment both for my professional practice and myself.
