Bareera Ashfaq
ABA Tutor
Hello everyone, I am Bareera, from the lovely city of Pakistan, famously known as Faisalabad. I grew up there, have completed my studies in Pakistan and then moved to London. London is a first place for me to explore the world. . I work as an ABA Tutor in the diverse city of London, Because of my creative nature, I love working as an ABA Tutor so I can create things in new ways, something different.
Early in my high school, I had a strong interest in human emotions and behaviour. To learn more about this, I decided to do my undergraduate studies in Applied Psychology at GCWUF, Pakistan. At first I worked with children in my second year at an internship. It was so impressive to see children learning, growing and improving in more fun and energetic ways.
After my 3-months of intensive training, I got my 40 hours RBT Training from Autism Partnership Foundation (USA). And started working as a full time ABA Tutor at a clinic for children with a diagnosis of Autism. Throughout my experience as an ABA Tutor, I have worked with children ages 2-12 years in 1:1 and group settings. I have gained additional knowledge by attending seminars and training from different areas of the world about Autism, ADHD, and Down’s Syndrome. I joined TCP to work with a multi-disciplinary team so I can better support children.
Outside work, I like to explore different cultures and love to visit lovely places in the UK. My biggest passion is to travel and I am on my way to learn how to swim.
