Giulia Granata
Speech & Language Therapist
Ciao, everyone! I was born and raised in Sardinia (Italy), a beautiful island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Sardinia has so much to offer, from beautiful landscapes to breath-taking sunsets and sunny weather all year long. As a kid, I enjoyed spending my time at the stunning beaches around the coast. I grew up eating the best Italian food and just so you know—I can make the best pasta in town!
I moved to London in 2014 to pursue an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Alongside my studies, I worked as an ABA tutor and gained experience with a different range of children aged from 2 to 18 years of age in both private settings and public schools. Moving on, I received a master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from City University of London.
I have dreamed of becoming a SLT from a young age as my passion and enthusiasm for this role come from my personal life experience. I grew up with a wonderful family member who has autism spectrum disorder and associated learning disabilities. This allowed me to understand firsthand how powerful and fundamental communication is. I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to support parents and children with their communication.
In my free time, I enjoy long walks around London. London is such a special city, and there is always something new to experience and discover! I love to travel and meet people from all over the world. My next challenge: learn how to dance salsa!
I can’t wait to meet you all!
