The Children's Place Therapies

Occupational Therapist

Hello! I am originally from sunny Queensland, Australia where I developed a passion for sports and spending quality time with friends and family. I have always had a love for travel and adventure. In 2023 I embarked on my most exciting journey yet when I moved to London. Since relocating, I have enjoyed exploring the city’s vibrant lifestyle, making new connections and traveling Europe to experience diverse cultures.

I gained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Following my graduation, I embarked on my professional journey at a private hospital, where I spent over two years honing my skills across rehabilitation wards, acute medical wards, and outpatient therapy settings. This invaluable experience allowed me to work with a diverse range of individuals and facilitate therapeutic interventions for a wide range of conditions. Each patient I worked with brought a unique challenge, deepening my expertise and further fuelling my commitment to providing high-quality care.

My transition into practicing Occupational Therapy in London has been both rewarding and fulfilling. I have continued to expand my experience by working in several hospitals across the city in rehabilitation and acute medical wards. With over four years of comprehensive OT experience, I have specialised in paediatrics as I am passionate about working with children, supporting their development, and creating tailored interventions that help them thrive.

Outside of my professional life, I like to stay active and make the most of my time in London. Running is one of my favourite activities and I often find myself taking long runs around the city. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, whether it’s exploring new areas, going on weekend getaways or enjoying dinner parties with tasty food and great company.
