Varsha Thomas

Speech & Language Therapist

Hello! I’m Varsha and I grew up in a small town in Kerala, India surrounded by a vibrant and diverse community that shaped my childhood and instilled in me a love for learning and helping others. Growing up, I was fortunate to have supportive parents and educators who encouraged me to pursue my passions.

My childhood heroes were my teachers who took the time to understand every child’s struggles and helped them develop strategies to overcome them.

What I love most about being a speech and language therapist is the privilege of being part of a child’s journey, helping them develop the communication skills they need to succeed in school, make friends, and express themselves confidently. Whether it’s witnessing a child say their first words, seeing them read their first book, or supporting them as they navigate social situations, every moment is a joy.

I hold a degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Mangalore University. Additionally, I’ve completed level 1 Oral Placement Therapy and have experience working with paediatrics in different settings including multidisciplinary teams, schools, and clinics.

Out of work, you can find me snapping photos, listening to music, crafting, watching baby videos and painting.
