The Role | ABA Tutor
As an ABA Tutor at The Children’s Place, you will play a fundamental role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with developmental differences. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver one-on-one sessions, tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals. These sessions focus on improving a variety of skills, such as communication, social interaction, and self-care, using evidence-based ABA techniques.
You will work closely under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and an ABA Supervisor, contributing to the development and execution of individualized treatment plans. Observing and recording the children’s progress will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that therapy approaches are effectively meeting their needs.
Regular communication with families and team members is crucial, as it ensures a cohesive approach to each child’s therapy. Your role involves not only teaching vital skills to the children but also empowering parents and caregivers with strategies to support their child’s development at home.

The Role | ABA Supervisor
As an ABA Supervisor at The Children’s Place, your role will be instrumental in overseeing the implementation of ABA therapy programs. You will supervise ABA Tutors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices. Your expertise in ABA will guide the development of individualized treatment plans and the monitoring of each child’s progress.
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, other therapists, and families, will be crucial. You will provide training and support to ABA Tutors, enhancing their skills and ensuring consistency in therapy techniques. Part of your role involves conducting regular assessments of children’s progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary, and ensuring the therapeutic goals are effectively met.
Your role also includes communicating regularly with families, providing them with updates, guidance, and support. As a leader in the ABA team, your ability to mentor, inspire, and manage will be key to maintaining the high standards of care that The Children’s Place is known for.
